Diggit Dogs is a military expression for people that love the military and make it a career. Most of us hated the military and couldn't WAIT to get out. If you LIKED it (you "dig it" ... get it ... DIG IT) you were a diggit dog. Its basically the same as LIFER but I always loved the expression and it came out.
