    There is already a Mac version by another author, called iCyclo. He is, in fact, even ahead of me in a couple of areas.

    FYI - I'm not an open source guy either. That was meant to be more of a dare than a "good idea".

    I imagine that Mono is a decent solution for the Forms interface, but it would be better if Microsoft would take responsibility for their own interfaces on other OS. (wishful thinking)
    Yeah, have them devote resources to allowing developers to port their apps to other platforms. That makes a lot of business sense.

    I forgot all about his app til I saw this post...

    I just got a CycloDS about 2 weeks ago and when I try to download the app I get

    "404 Error: the requested document does not exist
    URL: http://www.venerablesoft.com/cycloeditpro/CycloEdit%20Professional%20V1.0.zip"

    Suggestions?

    Guessing here but it's a .net program so it should run under Mono?

    Mono being a Open Source cross platform .net framework....works under Windows, Linux and Mac.
