    VLC Media Player

After more than two years of development and 100,000,000 VLC media player 0.8.6 downloads, the VideoLAN team is proud to announce the release of VLC media player 0.9.2, codename "Grishenko".. It's awesome!

    So, what's new?

I dunno man but after a couple of weeks of playing with the new VLC players, I've downgraded back to an older version. Anyone else think the new ones are sucking? They're slow to even start, they seem to play vids a little wonkier (like temporary artifacting on .avi files that go away after a couple of seconds), etc. And the whole interface seems a lot clunkier with the on-screen control panel.

    I aint liking it...

Incidentally I could only find 8.6i. Does anyone here have an archived copy of the win32 version of 9.1? (or whatever was the last stable build before the release above?)

Sounds like they're about to go commercial.

Thats the one Flare posted about above isnt it? And that's when it started sucking!

I guess I must be looking for 9.1, or whatever release it was prior to 9.2 that was around for a long while and we all used...
