Creepy at first but that chick is kinda hot.
Wii 2 Boxing with real facial damage FTW!

Remember that bits & bytes article you discussed some time ago about videogame violence? I don't remember which one it was but it had a picture of a girl and it said something like "In 10 years you will be shooting something like this".
This incredibly creepy video shows us it is definitely possible.
The old dude man! That one is so lifelike it's astonishing. That would've fooled me easily.
I had a look at the Hi-res trailers on their website, and Boy!, does the old man ever look like Ruger Hauer? Not straight off the bat, but every now and again, you get a glimpse of his nuances. Quality modelling and exceptional texture work.
The younger models lack the "meat" of the older guy, altogether to shiny and neat. Not enough skin to pad it out. I like the premise though and gawd, Silent hill 5 could be REALLY scary with facial animation of this quality.
Creepy or Cool? A little from column A and a little from column B . Think Tim Curry in "IT", and it's like that.
Constantly choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil.
How about creepy cool? I like where it could take us in realism in games.
The old man is the best. He has that ' Anthony Hopkins, Hannible Lector ' look.

Some peoples kids... Send them to school, buy their books and all they do is eat the crayons.
I agree, they should put that old man in a horror game.
I think it's pretty interesting.. they're definitely "getting there".It'll just take a number of years before some researcher or genius stumbles upon that magic ingredient for the eyes and motion that takes it away from creepy, stiff-like, and plastic to finally being realistic. It's only a matter of time.
Then, over the hill actors can actually just lend their voices to a 3D version of their "glory days" selves and CG can finally replace live action films like it has animation.![]()

This stuff is scary. No video, but definitely looks better than the other emotion video. I would like to see them in motion.
Ironically the young female on that page looks like a Realdoll, so you know we are getting close![]()
Speaking of which... can you believe she's not real?
