Has anyone played Baldur's Gate?

Has anyone played Baldur's Gate?
1. Is it possible to play 3 people online with each person controlling 2 characters?
2. Is it possible to play on windows XP?
3. Do you I need anything else other than an online connection?
(Do I have to pay the developers to play thru their server??)


Also, I was wondering the same question for baldur's gate 2.

1: Yes, and you can mix it up a little if you want
2: I would think so!
3: Well you need to meet the settings required.. I'd go for higher of course..
And no, you dont have to pay to play online...

Same as above for BG2
