    Shane--

Jeebus, gotta correct you already. Apple's DRM-free music has been $0.99 since Amazon got on the scene. Sorry, I gotta admit that was weird to hear that from you.

    Gee, really?

That's why every one of the below articles say that MP3s cost more:

    http://www.macrumors.com/2007/04/02/...ence-coverage/
    http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/9255.cfm
    http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/04/02...non-drm-music/

... and there are DOZENS more. Sorry if I didn't get the memo at the last minute that they chose NOT to do the premium. I don't have, nor SHALL I have iTunes installed or used on my computers.

Interesting, I also believed that iTunes Plus (DRM-free) songs cost more than the normal iTunes DRM stuff... but I just checked the online FAQ on the current version of iTunes and it says the price is the same, so I guess it got changed...

iTunes Plus songs, music videos, and albums are available at the same price as DRM-protected content.

If it wasn't for Amazon charging .99 for EMI's stuff, they would STILL be premium at iTunes.
