Shame you can't import the Beatles songs into Rock Band 2. Always what kept me from buying it. I did play it at a friend though. It's a nice package. Nicer than most "group centered" hero games.

Not quibbling but just pointing out why the price may only be $17. Receont article:

Speaking with MCV, Guthrie insisted that the music genre itself was not in jeopardy, and that its yearly decline simply reflects the inflation caused by instrument peripherals now widely installed in homes.

“The honest answer is no,” he said when asked if he was happy with The Beatles: Rock Band’s performance. “We were expecting higher sales. We got caught in a few things that happened last year. It was a tough economy; there was a lot of competitive products out there, and I think Beatles probably had softer sales than it would have if some of those things weren’t in play.”

You mean Magic Sword...which is it's inferior but decent inspirational sequel.

I stand corrected and dissapointed in it being Magic Sword. Not bad but no Black Tiger.

    Shane,

Your enthusiasm shows even in your postings. When is a new MW show coming out? I love hearing you guys talk about the goods.

OMG! I so disagree with this!

Magic Sword was so much better than Black Tiger. I used to be able to complete the game with one credit, and without skipping any level. I loved the different companion characters and how they go up in level. Finding the hidden treasures and switches was only part of the fun.

I have many fond memories of Magic Sword. Black Tiger was also a great game, but limited in scope and it hasn't aged as well IMO.
