And then X2, X3, X4, and so on came out. To anyone unfamiliar, this could have been some video game math problem. Mega Man 10 to the second power, hehe.

They even did the same thing to the Castlevania series. Castlevania: Dracula X (not 10). Weird.

Oh, that reminds me; the spider story made me shudder...no hairs standing up on the back of my neck, but the shuddering motion I made as I heard that story was QUITE visual...

Excellent show so far (only 1/2 way through).

Shane, if you can recall a particular time period I own a complete set of Compute's Gazette and would be happy to scan and post the ad for the "Icepic".

Still having a hard time picturing a guy with a C64 cart in his robe.

Shane man, you're no doubt at your best when you're just plain telling stories. Thanks!

I took the liberty of slightly tweaking the intro. Just did small things here and there, specifically at the beginning.

I think to date my favorite story is the entire "buying and setting up a plasma TV" fiasco. I don't know why but that one is in my mind often.

Hi, well yeah I was the one who submitted the "Planning Ahead" picture of Mario Bros.

    Here's why this is funny.

Everybody who played Super Mario Bros 3 remembers being in a similar situation, you step down into a dead end, and once a goomba went in as well, you are dead.

So in this example, the player didn't plan this ahead. There's the possibility of escaping this situation by hitting the ? box on the right side, making it move towards if, if it reaches to you faster than that goomba, you can eat it, get hurt by the goomba, and escape. On this picture, Mario hit the box on the left, so the mushroom went to the right instead.

In the end; this is just a funny caption to this oh-so-familiar situation
