    Problems with Amiga Forever

I've contacted AF team about this but I though I'd come here since I know a few poeple that have the emulator here.

I can get the AF installer to run in Windows XP because it seems to think it's a dos programme even though it's not. I've tried to make it "Compatable it Windows 98" mode and even that does not work.

    any Idea's guys?

huh? I haven't ever seen that problem.

Are we talking about the online edition or the CD?

Perhaps you have a strange file association issue over there?

    Let me know ...

I fixed it... But a gotta admit something, I'm was an Atrai ST man myself. Could anyone point me out to a decent webpage that teaches noobehs how to work Amiga Forever since it's manual it close to trying to work out rocket science.

I downloaded the game (SoccerKid), I've set up the disk loader so I can load/swap the disks when needed but I have not got a clue when it comes to actually booting the bugger up. What am I supposed to do?

    Thanks for you're patiance.

    Try this...

    http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu/mam.../mameindex.htm

There is a Guide for WinUAE at this site as well, just click the "EASYEMU" button at the top left!

I've been having the same problem with some of my old games where the installer don't work. Can you give more details of how you fixed it?

Nectar ... most old games have no installer (perhaps our terminology is different?). Most games are purely bootable disks.

For most titles, you can run WinUAE, select A500 Configuration, select the FLOPPIES area and point DF0 to your floppy ADF image, and poof. You're running.
