    The power of Oprah

I am aghast at the power of Oprah. If anyone can confirm any of this, I would love to hear more facts.

Here goes. Evidently Oprah had one of her specials where she showed off her 'favorite things'. One of the items was a Nintendo DS paired with Brain Age. She extolled how great this 'brain' thing was.

The next day my wife comes to me and says "I want one of those brain things I saw on Oprah. Can you get me one for Christmas?". After cross examining her, I finally figured out what she wanted.

We went to Best Buy to confirm and indeed she pointed to the DS and the box for Brain Age 2. I then discovered she had no idea the DS was a Nintendo game machine. Oprah didn't tell her that! She then saw a solitaire and Mah Jong game, so those went into my arms (she isn't a REAL gamer she said, but she loves card and tile games).

To sum up, I guess this means Nintendo will have a higher than normal DS sales season thanks to Oprah. Wow, I am stunned and I can't fully explain why.

The world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you, may not be right for some.

That's an awesome story, and I'm sure it's not an isolated incident.
