    Menu 1.0

    menu 1.0

I've just got my homebrew menu to a useful state. It should work on most cards (although there seem to be some issues), remember to dldi patch it.
It does everything chishm's dldi loader does, mailny because its just his loader with my front-end.

    Any comments welcome.

[edit] Just so you guys know, its homebrew only.

    Yes! Finnally!

Thanks for this, Spinal, I was getting really tired of the R4's text file browser.

It works on your R4? I can't make it work on my GF's R4 (firmware 1.10).

Yeah, I posted that last night, right as I was downloading it. It doesnt seem to work with R4. When I exe a NDS file, the top screen becomes pink.

Another thing you should consider adding is the option to hide hidden folders, because I have about 20ish folders on the root of my card that are hidden.

good idea. Also, to get it to work on R4, you'll need to encrypt it as the r4 menu. chishm did a prog for doing this I tested it, and it seems to work fine. Although this way, you no longer have the R$ menu, so you can only load homebrew, no passme function or anything like that.

You can bet that Ill be doing that once you can update to maybe add a settings menu to turn off/on hidden folders. Just trying to be productive.

Thankyou for the suggestion, your one of the first people that hasn't asked for an mp3 player in it.

I dont know why you would want one anyway. Moonshell plays MP3's perfectly.

One other thing that would be nice to have is being able to use the up/down buttons on the d-pad to be able to skip folders, (for when you have 15-20 folders in one screen).

Another good idea! It's going on the list. The next release will have the day name fixed.

Menu has been updated a lot since my last post.

    http://spinal.dizidesigns.co.uk/ndsmenu.html

Day name is now correct, better skin support, stylus control, hides menu_skin folder.

From what I have read, there is no way to detect (with current libfat) if a file/folder is hidden or not, so all folders will be visible.
