Well, as much fun as I've had with this game...I'm done with it. I'm burnt out to the point of exhaustion. Currently I am in the Valhalla ship and I seem to be missing at least one energy cell to continue on. Not only am I tired of backtracking to look for it, I don't even have the patience to check a guide for its exact location.

I lost the will power to continue on after putting MANY an hour into this game its time to move onto something else. I am on the threshold of finishing it but I guess I just don't care anymore. This backtracking mechanic is a real pain in the ass. I honestly don't know how I even made it this far...I never cared for the other 2 Prime games but I got sucked into this one and my fuse is spent.

I am getting that same empty feeling I had with Super Paper Mario in terms of I could beat this if I wanted to but ultimately it'd be more of a chore at this point than actually being fun.

If I ever have to set foot in F'ing SkyTown again it'll be way to damned soon!

You do know that you can find the exact location of an energy cell by scanning those data robots on the Valhalla and then going to the energy cell section of your inventory right? I don't think that I ever would have finished the game if it weren't for that. It only really took me an hour or so to find all the energy cells.

Hm, thanks for the tip. I JUST got the 2nd bomb component, and have one energy cell. I'll have to keep that in mind for later. Womp, that's sort of how I felt about MP1, although I just GameFaq'd my way through the end. While it's not ideal, you could always go that route.

Thats the thing, I just can't be bothered at this point. I am completely and utterly burnt out on this game right now. I just don't have the urge to finish it to completion and trust me there are games that I simply don't want to end...

Then there is something like this. It just feels more like a damned chore than having any kind of fun.

Woohoo - I just finished it! The last level was FANTASTIC. Womp, I know you're burned out, but you're really close to the end. It'll be much easier to finish it now than try to pick it back up a month from now. Also, you can check which energy cell you're missing in inventory screen. Each one gives you a clue to its location. Only one of them was any trouble for me to find (one on Bryyo took me about two hours, though I got a couple extra energy tanks & missile expansions while searching). The others took about 10 minutes each. If you're stuck on the one on Bryyo, just check a guide. Or, I didn't realize until too late but the satellite station in SkyTown will give you the exact location of every item in the game.

I give MP3: Corruption a solid A. The levels and puzzles are brilliantly designed, the difficulty and pace are perfect, it looks gorgeous, sounds great, controls extremely well, and has a ton of extra stuff to find and unlock. It's just a really polished title. Being the 3rd in the series, it didn't seem to have the "magic" and freshness for me that Prime 1 did, but looking at them objectively Corruption is the best of the series by far.

I will eventually. I am at the end of Halo 3 at the moment and its one of the most boring ass games I've ever played. Short as crap too.

Well, I finished MP3 this weekend. Overall, I'm very impressed with this game. The production values are incredible. The music score and environments are very impressive. My biggest complaint though is the infrequency of save points. I'm just at a point in my life where I don't have many opportunities to commit an hour and a half to finding a save point.

Anyway, I was at Game Crazy yesterday and Found MP1 for 4.99 so I snatched it up. Only now do I realize how superb the controls for 3 are. This one reminded me why I don't like FPS's on consoles. The fact that there are two analogue sticks and I can't move and rotate my view simultaneously is asinine. For the time and being a GC game, It's not bad. Not sure If I'll be able to stick with it though.

I finished this game just now. Overall, this is the best game of the series. The ability to control your ship to solve puzzles is an amazing new addition. Let's hope in the next Metroid game we'll be able to pilot the ship. Anyone else have fun pressing all the buttons in the cockpit to enable shields, arm weapons, change throttle, etc, only to be disappointed that you couldn't use them for anything?

I really like the grapple lasso mechanic. Not only does it feel good ripping off enemy armor with a quick flick of the nunchuk, I also enjoy draining energy from graspable enemies with the joystick.

The game was very forgiving, many of the bosses I could defeat in one try. It is nothing like MP2 when it comes to difficulty.

The other thing I found odd was the lack of a power bomb. Yes, I know you get the hyper ball but it's not the same thing.

Congrats - I'm glad you finally finished. MP3 was my personal game of the year for 2007. I enjoyed it quite a bit more than Mario Galaxy or Bioshock. I still intendo to go back and 100% it one of these days..

If you haven't bought Metroid Prime 3 yet you should probably wait and get this instead, it has all of the triology games on one disc and the first two games have been changed to 480p and wii controlls have been inserted.
