R4ds loader 1.11 news

ccording to this topic on Hacken.cc, a chinese bulletin board, the R4 DS loader 1.11 would be on its way with the following changes:
Options such as soft reset are now supported for 1158-Zelda
Solved white screen issues with game #1209
Cheat Code Real-Time on/off added and bug fixed
Moonshell upgraded to V1.71 and supporting soft reset
Download play now supported in all games
If this proves to be real, then it will be another nice update from the R4 team, making the R4 DS... nearly perfect? Discuss!

Sounds good, hope we will get it soon enough.

O_o Is exactly what I was thinking of when I saw 100% dwnld play. This is great! I dont have to feel bad about not buying a CycloDS...Except for maybe the SDHC support...

Im guessing the in game cheat enabler/disabler would also hint for an in game menu, too. Right?

That's exactly how i feel. I went to order a CycloDS Evolution about two days ago, but they were sold out. Being impatient as I am, i decided to buy an R4, which they had plenty of, instead

This is good news, indeed. The R4 is perfect for casual folks again.

I'm on the CycloDS beta team now, so I know of some things that will continue to give the Evo a small edge over the R4 - but having DS DL play will put the R4 back into the running as a "premiere" cart.

And, of course, competition is a GREAT thing.

I'm not under NDA as such, but I wouldn't feel right discussing things without permission. I'll discuss it with The Boss.

I'll tell you that if you look at the TC forums, and see what the most popular requests are (within reason) you'll see a lot of what's coming in the next build.

I WILL tell you that Yoshi T&G saving is fixed (which will probably fix a bunch of the JPN games that were doing something similar), that Wii connectivity is being worked on and "UI enhancements" are on the way as well.
