    X-Arcade Controller and Windows Vista

    Hi,

I recently hooked up my first joystick in years. In this case it's the X-Arcade controller Solo (sorry I couldn't afford the Robotron version although now I regret it). Anyways, when i play games like Golden Axe or Time Pilot or Elevator Action sometimes it seems to stick and I'm killed. I don't think it's the joystick but I'm not sure. I ran the test that X-Arcade has but it only tests the buttons and not the stick. I played some pinball (Some old Sierra Jurassic Park pinball game) and sometimes the flippers don't work (and I lose my ball--rarely happens but it does but that could be cause its a very old game). I know the X-Arcade is no more than a "keyboard" with kicka$$ buttons and it feels great but I want to know... Has anyone else used this thing in Vista for any length of time? Oh and I connect it to the USB port of my laptop. All ideas and rants welcome.

    I haven't tried it -- I should ...

I'm GUESSING it's an accessibility issue (google for STICKY KEYS). Give it a look over.
