I think they kind of mutilated the WWII era of gaming so it's to bring it into the 21st century!

looks a good sight better than brothers in arms, and brothers in arms was no slouch.

    Out now.

    anybody picking it up? anybody?

I would hate/love to be a reviewer this time of year, there are so many games you can hardly review them all.

I will be giving this a play before I buy it as I do with all FPS games on the DS because the "metroid claw" hurts so the game has to be worth it but that video sure does look nice faster frame rate than Brothers in Arms aswell.

Initial impression from 5 minutes of play:
    • It's very smooth
    • It looks good
    • The load-time is nice and fast
    • The controls are usable.

After the bland training sequence and the Operation Wolf style shoot em up in which you are seemingly invincible, I found the game an excercise in frustration.

Right, I played some more during lunch...

This game has a major flaw...

It has a funky aiming system called ADS, which is basically just a zoomed mode, good for sniping. Except it's triggered by double-tapping the touch-screen. This causes endless irritation, as you zoom in-and-out constantly during combat.

Also no matter how high you set the look-sensitivity in the options, panning is too slow.

I found the vehicle shooting sequence quite fun, but perhaps a little long...
