Getting ready to go to sleep last night and I decided to play some DS
As I turn it on I noticed the audio of the Nintendo DS boot screen
sounded tinnie. I thought maybe it was a glitch, so I turned it off then back on. The tinnie sound was still there. Now I start to get a bit worried. I try pluggin headphones to see if maybe its the DS speakers.
Nope, nope audio is still the same. I tryed a game and everything
sounded normal but I was still curious as to why this bot audio was diff. I try once more without any games and when the go to menu.
I get a message saying its my birthday. Noticed clock was past 12am.
That got me thinking, could it have been the reason for the boot audio change? I go into DS menu and change the date on the caldender up 1 day and save. DS stuffs off, I start it up again and Yep the audio was back to normal So turns out the change was because of my Birthday. Here is a link so you can hear the audio
yourself. So if you hear this sound, dont worry; your DS is not broken its just your Birthday
