Before we look at twenty five of the greatest TV show introduction videos, I'd like to put forward that these aren't THE TOP 25 intros of all time. Obviously, these lists are always subjective - usually determined by what the writer remembers from his own frame of references. Much like video games, music and other forms of entertainment - you're always going to be more likely to target those examples that you favor. As a child of the 1980s, TV was a huge part of my youth.

I love movies. I've loved movies ever since I was old enough to understand what I was watching. I was traumatized by THE SHINING when my parents accidentally took me to the theater to see it. THE EXORCIST can still give me the occasional nightmare. Of course, who could forget that creepy kid floating outside the window, knocking ... "It's your brother, let me in ..." compliments of SALEM'S LOT? Don't get me wrong - I love horror - but I do love many genres of film. Sure, I could do without MOST chick movies; but I do enjoy the more original ones (and plus I'm a guy - I get a pass for the rest of them).
