We are all pretty confident that the Nintendo DS's successor will be front and center at E3 2010. However, in the traditional Nintendo fashion, we don't really have any solid ideas as to what the dubbed "3DS" is going to be.
This article will attempt to address WHAT we know for sure, what is heavily speculated by the industry as well as my own personal expectations of Nintendo with regards to this new handheld.

I know, I know, we've all heard that line before. But over the past year or so the Playstation 3 has scratched and clawed it's way back into video gaming relevance, going from laughingstock to respectable with crowd pleasing releases such as Metal Gear Solid 4, the Uncharted series, and Demon's Souls. Even so, the system continues to lag behind competing consoles in install base, seeming to lack the true "killer app" many Sony fans consider to be the barometer of success for a console. It's hard being a Nintendo fan sometimes. Whether we are being lumped in with the "casuals" because we think it's okay to play games with our families, or being called "fanboys" for not buying in to the "first-person shooter of the month club" on competing systems, it seems we just can't get a break sometimes.
