There is no legitimate reason for any person on this forum to spoof, impersonate, or otherwise intentionally act in the manner of another user. This includes the stealing and reuse of custom avatars, intentional username similarities in a manner conducive to confusion to others or to add insult or injury to others, and any use of common sense with regards to creating your OWN unique identity on this site. You're here to be an individual - not pretend to be someone else.

Known controversial subjects ... No religion ... no politics. If the mods feel a thread is controversial and isn't pertinent to the community - it will be edited or deleted without notice. Arguments over this rule will result in warnings and/or permbans from this system.

Messages posted on this forum may be moved, removed or edited for content, without prejudice or reason, at any given time. This board may be shut down or removed at any given time without notice or reason.

SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST! Please see if you can contribute to an existing thread vice starting a new one.

Trolling and flaming: Use common sense. If community members are having a discussion about a game and all you have to contribute is "that game looks like crap" or "that sucks", move along rather than posting, as those types of comments contribute nothing to the discussion. Opinions are welcome when you've actually played the game or have some first hand experience. Otherwise, if you don't have any interest in the game, find a thread on a game that does interest you and post there. Trolling and flaming posts will be removed at the discretion of moderators.

Signature blocks will be modest and shall contain no graphics or HTML (links offsite are permitted). Admins and moderators have COMPLETE discretion with regards to size and content and will give warning to potentially offending signatures.

Use the "official" official thread sticky message to find games we are already talking about. If your game of interest isn't posted about yet, feel free to start a new thread.

Off Topic Messages will be moved to the appropriate forum. It is NOT our goal to remove messages from the system. We try to have a spot for everything.

Profanity is allowed in moderation. Warnings will be given as appropriate.

Information on homebrew and modding of consoles is permitted as long as links and direct actions of piracy are not posted. Warnings will be given as appropriate.

Posts with no substance or point other than flaming or being argumentative will be removed at the discretion of the moderators.

Please refrain from using "leet speak", IM/TXTMSG formatting (e.g. "how r u do'N"). If English is not your first language, or you feel uncomfortable writing English, please identify yourself so we don't think you're a goofy poster. :)

Animated graphics of any kind are forbidden inside of message posts. YouTube embedding via the forum message system is allowed.

When quoting messages posted by others, use the quote system. Everyone needs to use the same system for continuity. The forum has a robust quote system - use it.

Constructive suggestions from community members are always welcome. Complaints laced with attitude and whining will be ignored. Please PM your suggestions to an admin for consideration, don't create a thread to vent your concerns--these threads will be removed at the discretion of moderators.

When a violation of these rules occurs, the Admins or Moderators may issue INFRACTION POINTS. While these points can come in any value with any reason attached to them, most of them are canned infractions carrying the same values for each issue. Points will serve as a notice of infringement and my also carry other ramifications such as a User Title change and eventual banning (temporarily or permanently).

Here is the list of canned infractions and how long they last:



10 points results in a ban until the points drop off. Spammers receive the special 10 point violation that result in a permban.

If you receive enough infractions, you may be put into other user groups with restricted access rights (read only, no ability to start posts, etc). These groups tend to happen at the 3, 5, 7 and 10 point levels.
