I thought it might be cool to share little chunks of entertainment news I come across in my travels and share a little opinion at the same time.

Chances are good Night at the Museum will see a third installment. As long as the script is sound, there is still plenty of play room there.
Ivan Reitman ha confirmed he will be helming Ghostbusters 3 (thank god). Script is on it's second draft and shooting should start this year with a 2011 release. As long as this isn't some goofy "changing of the guard" movie, I'll be happy.
The new Nightmare on Elm Street comes out April 30. All I want to do is RUN. Fast ... and hard.
The Fast and Furious franchise looks like it's good for at least two more movies. I can do that ... just make damn sure Vin and Walker are both present (and get Tyrese Gibson back too) ... I'd love to see Cole Hauser come back somehow too.
Summer 2012 will see the Wolverine and Star Trek sequels. That's a LONG time to wait!
The Robocop reboot is on hold. The studio wants a 3D CG crapfest but the attached director wants a real, orgamic film with MINIMAL CG as possible. I like this guy ... but I see him getting booted in the future.
The sequel "Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance" ... Eva Mendes will not return as Roxanne Simpson. The action will be 'hard PG-13', likely shot in 3D and set in Europe. Shame .. I'll wait for the unrated Blu Ray.
Supposedly there is a Mannequin reboot being written. Leave it alone ... PLEASE.
