Sony Reduces Loss On Every PS3 Sold From $49.72 to $37.27

I'd say this bit of news fits in the "glass half full" category. According to market research firm iSuppli, Sony has reduced the cost of manufacturing of PS3 consoles to the point where the loss on each unit (previously $49.72) is now only $37.27. Losses related to Sony's Playstation 3 were reportedly $4.7 Billion as of October 2009. And considering that Sony moved 711k units in the important holiday shopping month of November, last month's sales of PS3's only cost Sony $26.5 million dollars!

Progress is progress, folks!

Yep, and they are already third place in sales again as Xbox 360 leaped over it again. Sorry Kazzy, you still have some work to do, but obviously the Slim was an excellent move that should have came at LEAST 12 months earlier.
