EA has announced it's new hockey franchise exclusively for Wii. NHL Slapshot will not only be built from the ground up for Nintendo's console, but will feature a hockey stick controller as well. NHL Slapshot will be available in stores this September and will feature Wayne Gretzky as the box cover athlete in it's inaugural year.
