Has anyone ever heard of/seen/used the Touchstream keyboard? Here's a link:

First let me say I have NO affiliation with this company, I just think the product is dead neat and it's saved my wrists in a huge way. The zero-force thing is really a big difference for anyone with RSI injuries, and I know there are a lot of programmers on this board.

As a warning, it took a LOT of getting used to at first for typing (well, one guy who got it at work picked it up in a couple of weeks easily, but it took me about twice that), but the mouse gestures, and the whole "coolness" of the interface make up for it and constantly give you a carrot or some neat way to use your machine.

The X-winder stuff for XP is a particularly extra and it's totally programmable. Just passing it along in case anyone was looking for some thing to aid their ailing wrists like I had to, and it has a refreshing air of innovation to it.

Cheers

Gave me really horrible atari 400 keyboard flashbacks (shudder)

Really? (I'm not familiar with those)

Shape, or no keys, or.. ?

[Edit: I found a picture. Keyboards are better for just 'typing', but the gestures and the fact that you only need to make contact - not press - probably set this worlds apart. It ought to be, 20 years later. That Atari 400 KB looks like 5 kinds of hell to use]

In college I loved using those LOUD IBM keyboards. Those things rocked :).

yaya .. the louder they click, the more satisfying. I can't do 'quiet' keyboards .. I need the click.

They also offer a mousepad-only variant, which I haven't tried yet (so you can use a regular keyboard but still do the gesture thing). Not sure how much of the benefit you'd get there though, at least for RSI.
