Hey Gamers,

This is my first post on the re-opened forum. A listener to the show from the UK
still haven't been able to enjoy that year 5 dvd shane, doesnt work my comp still. Ah well, crap happens...i'm sure if i try it on a friends system it should work. Anyway I thought i'd post a nice topic for you guys to wet your appetite, I am doing a weekly video montage and I want to exclusively post it here at Monroe World, I wanted to give the video link here because I know people will appreciate it rather than some unsuspecting group of impatient gamers just watch it for the fact they have nothing else better to do.

What it is is a 10-15 minute round up of some games from old systems in video footage, I capture with Hypercam and dub over the top with some music to give exposure to some unsigned bands. I have started off with 10 episodes dedicated to the Atari ST, I will be moving on to other systems, I have specifically modded Saint the emulator to give the proper textures that would have been present on the system running through a compatible monitor, so i tried to produce a realistic experience. I have provided footage this week of the games,

Buggy Boy
Return Of The Jedi
Xevious
Xenon
Speedball
Moon Patrol

Video file can be found here, http://www.saranetstudios.co.uk/2004/12/atari-ages-video.html

Hello to everyone at Monroe forums and a special hi to Shane and Bryan, I look forward to being a regular poster here,

Regards
James Joell

Despite you're an Atari head ... WELCOME! :) (hey, I heard the Falcon ruled ... shame only like 2 people had them - and none were in the US for me to meet :) )

I'd like to see the video... but alas, no connectee to da serveree.

I'll try to remember to mention it in B&B ... provided you get the link working :)

It works for me here...nout wrong with the server.

Shane I also have an Amiga A600 lol and because its smaller and sleeker than
the ST, its deserved its right for being set up and powered permanently :D

Thanks, I'll grab it. Coming now ...

The A600 is the total bomb. I've said numerous times that I'm so sad I sold mine.

What are the chances of something OTHER than WMV?

The opening band sounds like they are trying REALLY HARD to be Hooberstank ;)

I like it ... what would be MORE cool ... transistions within the same game, showing different levels, etc.

Still cool ...

Yea, i guess that would give me a chance to play the games more. Some games I admit i cannot progress far on, i.e Xenon...not that ive actually sat down and played the game for hours trying to progress, after I lived in the town of The Pompey Pirates and Menu disks were everywhere...so I had far too many games on my hands to really focus on one in particular. I did the editing in Windows Movie Maker, cant get to grips with Vegas because of its interface. I can however upload a higher quality version of the WMV if your interested. Maybe save it on a higher broadband quality setting?
