Found this while sifting through the forums at Armchair Arcade. It's a complete video of a 1988 The Computer Chronicles episode devoted exclusively to the Commodore 64. Lots of interviews, demos, and a segment on the SID chip. Sweet memories.
One thing about this clip did bother me, though. Stewart "stewbum" Cheifet and the rest of TCC's "expert" hosts virtually ignored the C64 during most of its lifespan, showing it the same aloof disdain they reserved for gaming consoles. By their reasoning, if it played games, it wasn't really a computer. No matter that the humble Commodore's graphics and sound were far superior to the IBM\MSDOS machines that dominated the market-at ten times the price-they could only get worked up about the latest release of Lotus 1-2-3.
