WOW... looks great Shane. If you need help with the vBulletin system Shane I'm more than willing to help out (as I'm an admin of one board that uses it). :)

I'm still learning the basics .. once I'm comfy with it, I'll start adding goodies like more themes and stuff.

We have lots of exciting things planned.

Overall I like the new boards, but I don't like the position of the view all new posts button. But I'll get used to it I guess. Oh and I like having a black theme, thanks :)

I'll add more themes too. I got used to the NEW POSTS button pretty quick.

So there was no issue importing data into vbulletin from phbb2 ?

Mostly not ... the RANKINGS from PHPBB2 became USER GROUPS in VB which had some adverse effects but overall, it went silky smooth.

I've removed ALL default avatars - you might lose yours. I've turned on avatar uploading - however, same rules apply from before. The first animated avatar I see gets the axe.

Woo hoo! Someone else dislikes animated avatars. I find all animation on webpages (well most web pages anyway) to be distracting. It falls under that category just because you can do it doesn't mean you should do it. Nothing worse to wreck a message board than a 150x150 animated avatar.

Oh BTW I got used to the new posts button :).

I definately like this board better than the phpBB one (I think that is what it used to be). It has lots of good features (and a few fun ones). One thing that surprised me is I didn't think the RGR would be allowed back here. I like the idea of the console war forum for the flamers. That should keep the flamming away from the other areas.

I first started comming to this forum because of RGR, and stayed cause I liked it better when it was a monroeworld only kind of forum. I know I don't post much, but that is because I don't know much about the topics, but I come here to read many times a day and thought I would add my 2 cents.

If you read the FAQ, you'll get a better understanding why we felt we could bring the forums back. It wasn't a decision we made lightly. Part of the reason we bought this new board is that we researched the crap out of it to make sure it could do everything we need in an aggressive moderation situation. We are pleased.

Hopefully, we'll have some turn out.

Invisible mode doesn't seem to be working.

Welcome back!

Please convert your avatar into a single frame gif please. The standing rule of the forum is NO animated avatars (even though yours isn't grossly annoying, rules be rules). :)

Excellent! Glad to see the new software/look and the new forums too, of course.

Was there some house cleaning that I missed? I just noticed that my post count dropped from the 200's to the 70's. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it - just thought it needed to be pointed out.

Everyone's posts went down .. Finally reindexed the threads and all that - so its actually ACCURATE to the new software now.

Sorry about that. EVERYONE lost numbers - including me.

Is it possible to have a stats page (unless I missed it somewhere).

for ex.

Biggest thread
Most posted of the day, week month, ect
Most read thread

and stuff like that.

Just curious.

There is probably a mod for it, but installing mods is WAY too much work - you have to do it over and over everytime you upgrade the board software. Just too lazy.

Is it just me or is the forum changing on almost a daily a basis and why won't my login be remembered anymore?

Hit the button instead of enter ... I still need to report that.
