I know probably nobody here cares, but figured I would put this out anyway :) Thunderbird (the open source mail client that is cousin to Firefox) has a Contact Sidebar extension, which may help if you're trying to wean a Joe Sixpack off Outlook Express who really misses this feature, like I did:

I care! Many thanks. I just switched over to Firefox and Thunderbird.
Even though I am very careful about the Internet nasties out there, I was forced to use IE because of my work. I had switched to MyIE2 and loved the features. But with all the recent new virii and password grabbers along with an announcement by the developers at work that they are going to support the Mozilla/Firefox browser, I have made the switch post haste. (Sorry Shane, still no Opera support) :(

As long as you're not using IE, I won't bitch ...

If you were into MyIE2, be sure and check out the Tabbed Browser extension for Firefox. It brings back all the features I missed from MyIE2, such as the ability to lock tabs and set sticky names.
