Anyone seen this. It shows people looking at bootleg dvds on a stand while saying you wouldn't steal a car , steal a cellphone ,etc etc but at the end it says illegal downloading inapporaite for all ages. Just what did it have in it about downloading?

The people who are against DVD piracy are the ones who aren't making money. Someone brings a camcorder to a theater, records a movie, goes home, records it to their computer, and hocks it online, and/or sells them on DVD's in the street. People are gonna jump at the chance to download the latest movie without paying $8. They benefit from this more than the people who distribute the real movie in theaters and so forth.
In short, all this "Piracy is wrong" that you see is another way for us to be controlled, and to keep the money in their pockets. Argue with me all you want. There is some truth to what I'm babbling.

Downloading movies isn't really wrong. It's just clicking. Trying to make people feel guilty about something like this is like trying to make them feel guilty about stepping on the grass. There are greater things at stake than the deep pockets of entertainment companies and people know that.

I just LOVE how that these ads are usually shown in movie theaters along with ads for Coke, NBC television shows, Seinfeld DVDs, cars, and other things that have nothing to do with movies.
Regal Entertainment Group is the worst. They have a 20 minute advertising block (The 2wenty) that runs right before the scheduled start time of the movie. They get away with it because technically they are still showing the movie at its scheduled start time, they are just putting ads before it. And they wonder why the movie theaters are in a slump right now.

Yeah, what's up with charging $10 a ticket and THEN forcing you to sit through 10-20 minutes of f**king commericials? Did I not just PAY MONEY in order to see a film and NOT have to be bombarded with stupid, flashy theatre ads?
The first time it happened I thought that maybe it was the theatre chain's way of making even MORE money (raping customers at the concession stand was obviously not enough) but I keep seeing these no matter where I go. The theatres can go piss themselves as far as I'm concerned.

I love the fact that when you're in a theater, and they pop trivia questions up on the screen repeatedly for like 25 minutes. After that is a reminder to not talk during the movie "for it is rude, and disturbs your fellow movie patron". You know what, when we went to see Star Wars in the theaters for the 3rd time, we felt it was ok to make funny comments, and we were cracking each other up. Some ass behind us got pissed off at that, probably cause his GF liked our comments, hehe.

The RIAA is gonna get you! (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=888749182269965261&q=illegal+downloading)
I guess this is somewhat related.
