Forbidden Forest / Moonstone...

Hi guys - was browsing the net and came upon your great tribute site to Forbidden Forest. I am the webmaster of The Moonstone Tavern, an Amiga and PC title released in 1991 that I am 95% sure was directly influenced by Forbidden Forest (which proceeded another gorey game - Barbarian - by a fair few years). It's certainly got the gore and general ambience of Paul Norman's creation, but took things to an even higher level and remains of a cult hit almost a decade and a half later!

I stuck a link to your site from my page so surfers could see where Moonstone may well have come from, and just thought I'd let you know about the FF / Moonstone connection just in case you wanted to come on by my site yourselves :)

Yeah, I played a LOT of Moonstone in the old days .... Along with Ork Attack, my favorite brutal 16 bit games.
