Nintendo and Waypoint, provider of access points for McDonalds, agree to offer Wi-Fi for DS owners for free.

So will we have clans of gamers showing up to play at McDonalds? Good stuff.

Inteview with public relations at McDonalds about the deal:

Shame I'm not a huge McDonald's fans. This is still INCREDIBLY COOL. Thanks, I hadn't made it over to IGN today.

The Burger King PR people should get a hold of Nintendo and offer the same in their place.

If they have refill then you'll be in heaven. Then get something else from the $1 Menu.

I don't know about you but I rather like McD's milkshakes. :D

Their burgers on the other hand taste like paper IMO :P

By the way, I heard from some danish colleagues that in Scandinavian countries, at McDonalds they charge you for ketchup... is that also true in Sweden?

That is completely nuts!

They have kicked that idea around the USA too. Every 5 years they try the ".05 a pack" ketchup packets. Now, they don't give you ANY condoments unless you EXPRESSLY ask for it. I guess that saves enough money.

That makes sense, that way they save money and avoid waste; and only the people who forget to ask for condiments would get mad once they arrive home and discover the lack of ketchup, but they would never forget again.

Nah, not in Sweden mate. We would never accept it ;) But we never have refill though. They do charge for ketchup in Germany, I don't know about Denmark since I go to McDonalds like 2 times/year.

It's bloody expensive as it is $7.60 for a Big Mac & Co :P, I can have a "all you can eat/drink" lunch for that price. After a meal at McDonalds I'm hungry again after 15-30 minutes.

Im not a fan of ketchup. Seasoning salt is good on the other hand, Red Robins has the best seasoning salt, and nacho's. (not ds related :P sorry)
