I'm recently new to the forums.
I own a Wii and a 3DS, I don't really play games 24-7 nonstop, but only
when I get a chance to, commuting to work to and from, weekends. I don't like labeling myself casual or hardcore. I'm just a plain gamer, a simple fun gamer nonetheless, graphics don't matter, as long as gameplay and intuitive controls are done well.
Grew up with Mario and Zelda, Metroid during NES Era.
I guess its a form of relaxation and more of an artform playing video games as a way to ease work stress and a way to escape everyday living.
My next consoles I'm eyeing on is a Wii-u and a PS Vita.
I guess my primary reason for eyeing on these is I think they are going to be cool. I also think the 3DS is cool, even if the public doesn't like it. Each portable has its own gaming market, yes even smartphone, none of them will go away because there is diverse types of gamers who are being catered to, its just like life, all walks different play.
