What a cool concept. Celebrity Mortal Kombat. We could have a match like Charlie Sheen vs. Mel Gibson and have Charlie say "Winning" if he wins the match or he could say "bring it" before the match starts. We could have Mel Gibson go into one of his rants if he loses. We could have Lindsey Lohan Vs. Britney Spears and if Lindsey wins the match, she could shave Britney's head. I would even pay $1 a pop if this were to become an arcade game in an original MK cabinet of course.

Man those police people just don't seem to give a damn that you were completely cleaned out and wont give you your documents. It seems like that was not part of their scripts. I thought that's what computers are for. How hard was it for the chick to hit the print button and give you your documents? Unbelievable.

I would like to see someone drive down the street and blast some music that is actually worth listening to.

If only that's what it meant ... :)

I was going to chop that call out, but for some reason, I thought it would be fun to leave it in.

About the lack of 3ds games, you think its the upcoming E3 show. I always thought the tsunami in Japan had slowed development because they are recovering. That disaster destroyed they flash memory plants.

I thought Jerry Lawson was the kid on that Small Wonder tv show. His name so you dont have to google it was Jamie Lawson played by Jerry Supiran.

Also, I woulda tried to get in touch with the detective that handled your case - he might have a copy of your list in the case file. I take it none of your stuff ever turned up?

Celebrity Deathmatch has already been done.........http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celebrity_Deathmatch_%28video_game%29

I knew about that one. That one isn't quite what I had in mind. :)

Thanks for this show Shane, had a chuckle over the "horizontal karate" and Celeb MK too ;)

And Jerry Lawson, I don't recall hearing that interview on RGR - I check the site to see when you post it up there. Just reading about him and apparently he was building stuff right up until the day he died. A blessing to us all. RIP

Cheers

Yeah, I gotta dig that interview up and post it. It's one of the better ones because that man knew how to tell a story.

Dude, why didn't you just file an extension, get the documents 7 to 10 days later, and then submit your return. Turbotax has an option for that as well (if I recall). Would have netted you that $200+ in any case, with like a day delay on getting your return.
In any case you can also file an amended return next year I guess.

When it comes to taxes, I like to keep as low of profile as I can ... anything that can even remotely make them turn anything but a blind eye to my return, I tend to forgo.

Meah, 1 extension isn't gonna trigger any flags. If you did it every year then maybe. Besides, your return amount falls well within the 'average' return(about $3500). Tax man isn't looking for you, their looking for people who's numbers bounce around or steadily increase every year.

True. I'll look into it for next year's filing.
