Very good review! I have to agree with you on all points. A lot of people have complained about the high cost of these maps, and although I'm no fan of Activision and don't like setting the precedent of increases in DLC, these maps are easily worth the $15 to me.
Simply put, I have over 300 hours invested in MW2 multiplayer. The average new release will run you $60 these days and provides on average 10 hours worth of gameplay. If I only play these maps only get played for 10 hours, $15 seems like peanuts compared to your average single player experience. I got those nightvision goggle too, but took advantage of an Amazon 50% off coupon along with some in-store credit so my Prestige edition only cost me $30. At this point, I'm in it for $60 but have gotten a lot more value out of it than the $60.
Overall, MW2 still offers the best competitive multiplayer experience on the market. BFBC2 is a great game, but MW2 trumps it with superior controls and outstanding visuals...
Glad you've enjoyed the map pack!

I have no problem with these map packs. I mean, they were pretty up front about letting people know that you were not paying for the whole game from the beginning, so I'm cool with that. They said they'd be releasing 2 map packs, and they have. If they release another one though, that's crossing the line.
