I was browing through the $5.88 bin at Wallyworld and found "Titan AE" buried in the bin. If I didn't own it already, I would of grabbed it.

(For the info, I bought it the day it came out)

Normally I'd say it was sad to see Titan AE in the bargain bin, but DVDs have become such a MAINSTREAM commodity that just like video games and music, there is so little shelf space and clearing them out for cheap is the way to go.

I've seen MANY great films in the bargain bin ... one of which is WILD THINGS ... a "decent" movie, but really becomes great during the closing credits. Never saw a film do what they did ... but it really propelled the overall opinion of the film.

Personally I wish Fox would hurry up and lower down the prices on "The X-Files" season boxsets. I find $100 plus a tad too much so I'm waiting for them to go down.

Also, where the hell is "Millennium" aka the only show I will pay $100 per season for on DVD because it ownz me arse kthksLanceHenriksen!

Then again, you all know what kind of whore I am for that show. I used to run a fan page and a radio show for it. Shanesta here even did a guest editorial on one edition even.... :D

Kind of old thread but I had to reply. I was overjoyed when I found Titan AE for $5.88 in the bargain bin. I had gotten a copy when it came out but my brother scratched the hell out of it. Now I can watch it again! Hurray!

Of course some DVD's are worth only the $5.88, like when my wife wanted Don Juan DeMarco from Wal-Mart. I've never seen such an awful transfer before, especially in the beginning of the film. A decent movie overall though...

Worst transfer I've seen to date: Maid to Order.

Found 'Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla' in the bargain bin of our local Wal-mart for $2.88 CDN.

It's a classic

"Snake Eyes" with Nicholas Cage (spelling?) is now in the Wal-Mart $5.88 bin. They've also gotten a few other good films in the bin too like "Stay Tuned" (kthksJohnRitteralwaysownedme) and "Last Action Hero" (tho Wally is now selling the P&S only edition, so I grabbed mine at my store which has WS on it.... the P&S for that film really blows big time).
