Just listening to your show about the video phone teller. I've had the same experience as you did. It's werid experience not seeing the teller at the other side of the window. You see a video cam at the other side instead and a bullet proof pane with curtains covered. I think they are in credit union banks all over the US.

Good show Shane.

What is the deal with child actors in Sega CD games? First Dana Plato and now Corey Haim.

regarding the banking segment, basically a video teller with an ATM interface you would not need a guy in the back room to dispense money. I always wondered why gas stations do not go to a no employee setup where everything is automated. Usually there is just one guy working the whole gas station. He would know anything about cars. I bet if they had a gas station where there was the old style service from the 50's they would get the older customers who remembered that stuff. There is no more uniqueness in businesses anymore. Everything cookie cutter.

I've never seen a screener DVD that doesn't have the copyright blanked out. That's even more ballsy, to broadcast a movie without the black bar hiding the notice.

Maybe they think that since it was an old movie, it was OK.

Great Show...

We've had the automatted teller machines at our Credit Union for about 5 years. When we first got them the video/audio was a little shakey and it felt like you were talking to Max Headroom.

Recently they got rid of the tubes and made it more like Shane was saying that the teller does not even have to be on location (even though they still are in the back). There is s a little glass scanner that you put your license on so they can read/scan it. You feed checks/cash into a slot. Fully automatted.

The Icade sounds like it has the same Jamma Board I picked up a while back (last summer maybe). 60in1 board of vertical games. I picked it up for like $99 on sale at www.jammaboards.com.

Edit: Yup here it is and it is called the iCade (http://www.jammaboards.com/store/60-in-1-multigame-pcb/prod_212.html).

I love your show.

Regarding the ICade, SCOTT SCHREIBER did a segment on your show, Retro gamming radio, about it.
It was one of the last show, I only listen the the last tree or four shows so it one of those...BTW, I'm waiting for the 10 year box set :).

Hey man! Thanks for the nice words!

That's what I get for not listening to my third party segments on RGR :)

I need to get more video of the sucker next time we're at the restaurant!

Oh yea I remember now. That's where I picked up on the Jammaboard.com site originally. I knew it sounded familiar. :)
