Not much to get excited about.

Only 3 games peaked my interest though. The new Super Mario Bros. 4 player co-op. Metroid other m and Mario Galaxy 2. These 2 just because the previous versions were quite fun.

I'd rather have project hammer then any of those though. Beating the stuffing out of bad guys with a big hammer nuff said.

Strangely enough, there are some games they didn't show at the conference (like they didn't show Warioland: Shake It! last year) in the press kit that look interesting. Endless Ocean 2, Sin and Punishment 2, Monado (a new first-party RPG IP it seems).

That's awesome--one of my favorites from Wii Sports, I wonder how it will play with MotionPlus?

I liked what Nintendo showed this year as its all good solid titles even if they need to lay off the Mario love. Even then Nintendo's presentation was pretty solid this year. I liked NSMB Wii and it'll certainly sell a boat load this holiday season. Wii Sports Resort will be a huge hit and bundling Motion Plus with it (along with other titles) is a great idea on Nintendo's part. The Metroid game looks fantastic plus I love that its being done by Team Ninja. Mario Galaxy 2 however looks way too much like it should be an expansion pack than a full new game but with at least another year in development things can change.

Good but not a mind blowing showing by Nintendo this year. Hopefully next year Nintendo will finally unveil the long awaited Wii HD. I knew it wouldn't happen this year since Wii system sales are finally cooling down slightly now but the system is still selling strong enough so I can imagine Nintendo doesn't want to rock the boat yet by unveiling an upgraded Wii model yet. I would have loved to see some of the other titles that Alex has been uploaded to YouTube during the presentation but on the other hand by focusing on a select few titles it did give Nintendo a bit more time to focus on those without cluttering this up by the time people leave.

This piece of art has not yet been released publicly, but we noticed that Link appears to have grown to full adulthood. He looks older than he did in Twilight Princess. Is that a correct assumption?

Shigeru Miyamoto: Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood. There is one hint. Maybe from the art work you can see that he's not holding a sword.

You are right. I guess because I have only used my classic controller a few times I've forgotten. I do like the look of the new classic controller.... except it looks a little too Sonyesque. At least they moved the wire to being at the top of the controller instead of the bottom as it is on the current one.
