How come no one has commented on this episode?

Hey Shane... you were not particularly amused with Hugh Jackman's visit to Tempe? There would've been free breakfast for you had you camped out.

Hugh Jackman Drops $4300 on Breakfast (http://www.tmz.com/2009/04/30/hugh-jackman-drops-4300-on-breakfast/)

TMZ has obtained the receipt from Paradise Bakery in Tempe, Arizona -- where Jackman bought 67 breakfast trays and 80 gallons of coffee for a pack of "Wolverine" fans who had camped out in front of a theater the day before Monday's big premiere.

Once Jackman heard about the fans, he promised to buy them breakfast and placed the order late Sunday. We're told Jackman wanted to keep the food order simple and bought platters of bagels, muffins, and croissants.

No word if Jackman left a tip -- we're gonna assume he did ... 'cause he can do no wrong. What a nice guy eh?

We created our own game when we were little as well. I made a "Ghostbusters game" that had a game board on the front and a game board on the back. We did play the hell out of it.

I also created another board game about video games. I took the old wishbook catalogs and cut out the box art pics (remember how they used to take up whole pages?) to use as things you could collect. I think the point of the game was to amass the largest and most diverse game collection. You'd have to attain the system and then like 5 games for the system or something.

See, I knew someone else had to have made games too. :)

Heck, I used to take cardboard and make my own little arcade cabs out of glue and markers. I even had it so the little joystick was connected underneath to move the 'ship' back and forth over top the drawing of a space scene ala Galaxian. They were about 5 inches tall. My mother would bring me home these giant sheets of cardboard from work that were inside the empty boxes of X-ray film she'd use as a tech at the hospital. It was awesome stuff.

Bah, I figured out that AA's could be substituted directly for C batteries. You just had to be careful they wouldnt pop out due to the excess room.

I listened to about 6 hours of shane while driving today and I've come to realize, he's either extremely lucky or extremely brilliant. I still have not figured out which one.

How come a 13 mile commute takes you over 1/2 an hour? I only had what was up on the podcasts (I was searching for RGRs)....

I know you stop at sonic (none back here on the East coast) for your diet coke+lime, and also drop off or pick up kid(s) at daycare.

It's obviously not 13 highway miles......He drives thru city streets so it's much slower.

Yep, it's all surface streets. The highway probably takes a similar amount of time - but I don't like my odds on the highway.

Hey Shane... I saw this article today and was reminded about the board game you invented.
http://news.sciencemag.org/sciencenow/2010/04/does-our-universe-live-inside-a-.html?rss=1&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&sms_ss=digg

Was it by any chance influenced by a Wormhole?

As a matter of fact, I think that would be a great name for that board game, you should patent it, sell it. profit!

It was based on a black hole... I believe it was even NAMED Black Hole ...

Cool though ... I should remake Black Hole ...
