Ginger, new episode - answers your question. Also, a followup on the youtube myspace thing.

I like Diet Coke's flavor over regular coke. I don't like the sheen of crap that 'non-diet' soda leaves on my teeth.
I can do Coke Zero ok and Splenda Coke.
I too prefer the Diet versions of Coke, Dr Pepper, Pepsi and Mountain Dew.
However, I despise the taste of Diet Sprite, Diet 7up and essentially, anything fruity-flavored. Somehow, aspartame doesn't go well with fruit flavors. Regular Sprite and 7up taste great on the other hand.
Also, Cherry Coke Zero... tastes amazing.

Got the latest one. I'll listen to it on the way home. I get to leave work early today. :)
Latest comment from my girl, Stephanie, regarding Car Talk: "Now I know who Shane reminds me of.....Kevin Smith!!"
And I'm sorry, I was hysterical!! :D

If not for Car Talk, I would have been on time for my 1:00 meeting today.
Car Talk is to blame! (And most definitely not my poor time management)

Wonder if Mr. Car Talk has an opinion on those dumb commercials for E-Harmony and Chemistry.com, or Match.com, or whatever. Those goofy people who are in front of a white backdrop, talking about either being in the perfect relationship, or being rejected by one of these services for having one flaw too many (like chewing with your mouth open).
Funny how before I got into a relationship, which was a month ago, I used to hate those E-Harmony commercials. Now that I'm in a relationship, I found out that my girlfriend and I happen to hate the same commercial, and still say in unison "aw jeez" every time those E-Harmony ads come on.
Yet, we laugh our heads off when we hear "This will be (an everlasting love)" on the radio, which is the song they use for those commercials.
Figure that one out. ;)

I wonder if you'll ever see one of these bumper stickers on your commute.

It’s funny about your comments about fuel prices and oil companies just not caring anymore about explaining fuel price rises as it’s a hot issue in Australia. Here in Australia the prices have their own routine, Tuesdays are the cheap days where you can get it for around 1.39 cents a litre and Thursdays the dearest 1.52 cents a litre at the same service station. Oil companies explain the fluctuations by blaming USA, winters in Europe or problems at oil refineries. Quite a large chunk of the fuel price is tax that originally was implemented for road works and new highways (here in Australia everything is far away) --When we had the GST introduced the tax was to be removed or reduced---of course this didn’t happen.

I notice in some occasions you sort of wanna say a bad word (e.g. "sh*t") but you react quickly and change it to "crap".
Have you considered doing Car Talk without censorship? I'm not asking you to drop F bombs in every other word, but maybe talk like you would talk with friends. We know you swear from time to time, we all do it all the time :)
Show's not going on iTunes, so how about "freeing the language"? :p

Yeah, I might do that ... When I'm aware of being recorded, I try to temper the language - it's just habit.
I do swear (hell, I was in the military for >7 years so ...) ... I could defintely try to lift the ban.
