whenever im asked whats the worst film ive seen Jokingly i say escape from death moutain staring hulk hogan but only as a joke because i really cant remember seeing a trully awful film until.... Envy staring jack black and ben stiller just released on DVD in the UK.
I loved meet the parents and shallow hal so those two together wow what a dream team. Oh no it isnt. The basic premise of the film is that the two guys who are neighbours work at the same sand paper factory as office workers the usual "dead end jobs aspire to better things" type set up.
But then the character played by Jack black who is always trying to come up with and invention has a flash of inspiration when he see's a dog taking a crap and the owner picking it up. HE thinks ahhhhh a spray that can get rid of dog poo.
He tells his friend (ben stiller)about it but he dismisses it as a crap (hahah rofl, lol) idea. But he carries on with it and finally gets a prototype and calls it vaPOOrize he then asks ben stillers character to put $2000 dollars towards it but he still thinks its rubbish idea so he doesn't and then regrets it.
Im not going to tell you the rest of the film because theres not much to tell. This is a hideously unfunny mess with terrible casting of two great comedy actors.
Christopher walken who makes an apearence to help stillers character out is woeful with a script that wouldnt be out of place in the worst cheech and chong movie. This film made me angry, I hate wasting money ive never felt like that with a film before.
There were literly no jokes its almost like they thought people would constantly laugh at the invention.
Jack Black had about 8 lines all of which were poor.
