help with classic merlin

I have a classic merlin but one of the lights is burned out and I was wondering if it can be replaced?

I'm pretty sure they are hardwired to the board, so expect some microelectronics work. Hard part may be getting the bulb itself.

Of course, they are going for a good $40 on ebay these days despite the crappy, tiny voice-driven knock off sold at Target being available.
