Nicola Salmoria, the original creator of MAME, has unlocked the encryption routines for this 2D hardware. This will also enable emulation of Raiden Fighters 1, Viper Phase One, and Raiden Fighters Jet in the near future.
Raiden Fighters 2 is already playable under his latest WIP driver, although it is a version with scrambled music. Interesting progress for Mame...
